Alireza Marandi Receives 2023 DARPA Young Faculty Award

Alireza Marandi, Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering and Applied Physics, has received a 2023 Young Faculty award from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). The mission of the DARPA Young Faculty Award (YFA) program is to "identify and engage researchers in junior faculty positions at U.S. academic and non-profit research institutions and expose them to Department of Defense (DoD) needs and DARPA’s program development process." Marandi receives the award for research on "Few-optical-cycle Nonlinear Nanophotonic Circuits." View all the 2023 recipients here.
