Haowen Zhou Wins Best Oral Presentation Award

Haowen Zhou, an Electrical Engineering graduate student advised by Changhuei Yang, Thomas G. Myers Professor of Electrical Engineering, Bioengineering, and Medical Engineering; Investigator, Heritage Medical Research Institute; Executive Officer for Electrical Engineering, has received the best oral presentation award at the 2026 SPIE Photonics West - Computational Optical Imaging and Artificial Intelligence in Biomedical Sciences III. The title of the presentation is "Digital defocus aberration interference for autofocusing and digital refocusing in microscopy."
